Scheduling

Here is our tentative schedule, as of April 1st. It turned into April and I realized that we need to pull this together and start contacting farms. So here it is:

June 25: leave Concord, NH; arrive in DC for dinner with Erin
June 27-July 4: Suzuki violin teacher training

July 6: leave DC, 11 hours later arrive in Chicago for dinner with Daren
July 8: leave Chicago, begin our farming adventure in south-eastern Minnesota

July 10: To Minnesota: visiting Larry's lake house for the weekend.
July 13: To Minneapolis, visiting the city with Larry, Ben, and Andy. Jonathan GH? Heidi?
July 16: leave Minneapolis, farming on a reservation in Minnesota for about a month
August 19: leave reservation for Missoula, MT

August 20: arrive in Missoula, MT to visit with family, was our clothes, and rest up for more trip
August 31: leave Missoula for Seattle [our length of stay in Seattle depends on who we stay with. If we will be stay with my grandpa's sister it will be for 2 nights or if Chelsey has moved there then we will stay with her for probably a few more days.]

After Seattle we will travel to Portland, OR to stay with Aunt Marty and hopefully be able to see Kirsten (if she's around and we don't catch her in Montana).

September 9: Travel to Northern California for farming adventures at 3 different farms for just over a week each.

October 8: San Francisco to stay with Pramod's friend Matthew (though he doesn't know anything about this plan yet). 2 nights with him.
October 10: Heading to Los Angeles to see Karmen and Lotte! We've been missing them.

October 13: try to find a place to park our car for 2 months and fly to Hawaii.
October-December: spending time on the big island and Maui (depending on plane tickets around the islands), probably wwoofing at 2-4 different farms on those two islands. Exciting! Doing some exploring, snorkling, hopefully scuba diving--money allowing-- and just hanging in the sun!

December 14: fly back to LA, spend 1 night with Karmen
December 15: begin the long drive home. I need to figure out where it starts getting cold between LA and Colorado because we will need to sleep somewhere for a night and it would be nice to be able to sleep in the car if it's not too cold!

December 16: Arrive in Colorado. Our length of stay will depend on who we stay with again--if Jenna is still in CO, then we will stay with her until the 20th (4 nights) but if she's not, then we'll try to stay with one of Dad's cousins (Rebecca or Landon) for a a night or two.

December 18 or 20: leave CO. It's a 32 hour drive from "Colorado" on google maps to home. We'll splurge and get motel rooms for two nights on the way home. Then home by Christmas!

There we go. That's our trip!
